Men's Soccer Advance to Final

Newark, NJ - The Essex County College Men's Soccer team adanced to the Region 19 final, by beating Massasoit Community College in the sem-final game Friday afternoon by a score of 4-1. The Wolverines received goals from Jaime Cobas (2 goals) and Roland Kabore (2 goals, 1 assist). In the first half, the Wolverines struck first from Jaime Cobas, who would later chip in with his second. Essex would take a 2-0 lead into half time, before Massasoit struck back with a goal from a penalty spot. Essex's Kabore would later put the game away with two goals for the Wolverine win.

The Wolverines offense finished with 21 shots on goal for the game. Goalkeeper Ahmed Roudane finished with two saves in goal, while Mateo Angosto chipped in with an assist.

The Wolverines return to action Saturday Nov 2nd, vs Mercer Community College in the Region 19 Final at 2pm kickoff.
