Men's Soccer Downs CCBC Catonsville

Newark, NJ - The Essex County College Men's Soccer team picked up a victory Thursday night vs CCBC Catonsville, 2-0. The Wolverines dominated possession and the bulk of the scoring chances, but were only able to find the back of the net twice (1 goal from Tyreece Francis, 1 goal from Miguel Solorzano). Essex picked up an early goal in the first half of the game, followed by a late goal to seal the victory in the second half; while the offense dominated with 23 shots on goal. 

Jaime Cobas finished with 9 shots on goal, Ahmed Roudane finished with one save in goal and both Tyreece Francis and Miguel Solorzano chipped in with an assist each. 

The Wolverines (10-2-1) return to action Tuesday Oct. 22nd when they host Harcum College on the back end of a double header (6:30pm kickoff).
