Deeble Tunes Up for Nationals at Last Chance Twilight Meet

Mahwah, New Jersey — The Essex County College Women's Track & Field team sent one competitor to compete Friday night at the Last Chance Twilight Meet hosted by Ramapo College under the lights in Mahwah, NJ.

Sophomore, Kadina Deeble used the meet as a final tune-up ahead of her appearance at the NJCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, competing in the 100-meter hurdles. Deeble finished third overall with a time of 15.6 seconds, continuing the strong momentum she has built throughout the outdoor season.

Now, Deeble turns her full attention to the biggest stage of the year as she prepares to represent the Wolverines at the national championships in Hobbs, NM. The NJCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships will take place May 14–16, where the sophomore standout will look to cap off her season against the nation's best.

With confidence building, and the spotlight growing brighter, the Wolverines head into nationals believing there is still one more memorable chapter left to write.
