Essex Falls at Harcum, 82-68

Bryn Mawr, PA- The Essex County College women's basketball team dropped an 82-68 decision at Harcum College on Tuesday night.

Mia-Marie Thomas led Essex with 23 points, shooting 5-of-7 from the field and a perfect 12-of-12 from the free-throw line, while adding four steals. Gabriella Brown added 22 points, knocking down five three-pointers.

Natalie Fonseca recorded a double-double off the bench with 11 points and 11 rebounds, and Michelle Hernandez chipped in eight rebounds. Kayley Lynch added seven boards and three blocks.

Essex shot 47 percent from three-point range (8-of-17) and 80 percent from the line but was hurt by 15 turnovers in the loss.

Wolverines next game will be Tuesday, February 17th vs Lackawanna College at 5:00pm. Before the tip-off, the athletics department will be honoring our six sophomore student-athletes as they will be playing their final home game of the regular season.
