Newark, NJ - The Lady Wolverines fell to Harcum College 84-56 on Tues. afternoon, falling to 4-13 on the season. Jakira Coar led the Wolverines with 32 points and 2 steals, while Mia Marie Thomas chipped in with 7 points and 2 rebounds. Essex kept it close, trailing only by 4 after the first quarter before Harcum pulled away. Essex would go on to shoot 37.2% from the field, but allowed their opponents to shoot 46.2% as well.
Basirat Animashaun chipped in with 8 rebounds as well for the Wolverines.
Essex (4-13) return to action Thursday night at home vs Region 19 rivals Raritan Valley, tip off set for 5pm.
