Carney's Point, NJ - In their first game of the 2023-24 season, the Essex Wolverines fell to conference opponent Salem County Community College 71-57.
In their first collegiate basketball game, freshman guard Kassandrah Phanor and Freshman forward Alana Nickels would post a double-double. Nickels would put up 26 points with 14 rebounds (8 offensive and 6 defensive) and Phanor would score 20 points and 14 rebounds (7 offensive and 7 defensive).
The Wolverines will travel to Philadelphia to face Region 19 opponent Harcum College on Tuesday, November 21st for a 5:00pm start.
