Sophomore Nafew Mohammed Earns USTFCCCA All-America Honors
NEWARK, N.J. – Sophomore Nafew Mohammed of Essex County College has been named a USTFCCCA All-American following his performance at the 2026 NJCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships, which took place in Hobbs, New Mexico, in May 2026.
The USTFCCCA All-America distinction recognizes student-athletes who achieve exceptional results at the NJCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships, highlighting their excellence on the national stage.
"Nafew's dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence have been evident throughout the season," said Coach Berry. "Earning USTFCCCA All-America honors is a tremendous accomplishment and a reflection of the effort he has invested in his development as a student-athlete."
Mohammed's achievement adds to the growing tradition of excellence within the Essex County College track & field program and showcases the talent and determination that continue to propel Wolverines student-athletes to national success.
