West Windsor Township, NJ - The Essex County College men's soccer team stormed into the Region 19 Championship with a commanding 8–1 victory over Massasoit Community College on Friday afternoon in the Region 19 semi-final. The Wolverines' attack was firing on all cylinders, with Kristijan Penic leading the way with four goals and one assist.
Marques McDonald added two goals and two assists, while Roland Kabore and Noah Kaiser each scored once. Essex dominated from the start, outshooting Massasoit 20–3 and controlling every phase of the game.
With the win, the Wolverines advance to the Region 19 Final, continuing their explosive postseason run as they aim to capture the NJCAA Region 19 Division II title against #2 nationally ranked Mercer County Community College on Saturday, November 1st at 2:00pm at Mercer.
