Newark, NJ - The Essex County College Men's Basketball team fell 95-81 to NJCA DI Harcum College on Tuesday night in the Cleo Hill Gymnasium. Sophomore Shane Cedres led the Wolverines with 31 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. The visitors led all game, with the Wolverines cutting the deficit to 10 points in the second half. Stingy defense and timely buckets by the visitors kept the Wolverines at bay and helped seal the victory for Harcum, who were led by Cory Lovell with 24 points.
Jaidan Gilzene chipped in with 16 points and 7 rebounds to help the Wolverines offense shoot 58.2% from the field for the game.
The Wolverines (3-8) return to action at home Saturday December 14th at noon vs Westchester Community College. The Vikings beat the Wolverines earlier this season 93-86, although the Wolverines were missing four key players.
