Wolverine Commits to Dominican

Newark, NJ - The Essex County College Wolverines had their first Men's Basketball Commitment, as Koi Kirk Jr. committed to Dominican University. Koi has been a member of the Men's Basketball Team for the past two years. During that time, Koi averaged his best scoring season this past year with 22.0ppg, 5.7rpg, and 1.8apg. Koi fell just shy of 1,000 points for his career as a Wolverine but helped lead the program to 20 plus wins during his time at Essex County College. In the classroom, Koi was just as affective as on the basketball court; averaging over a 3.0 GPA while at Essex. Recently, Koi was able to see his hard work culminate in graduating from Essex County College after two years with his Associates in Liberal Arts. 

Koi Kirk Jr., was joined by his family and the recently retired Coach Bobby Morgan, as he signed his LOI to Dominican University.
