Wolverines Continue to Win

Newark, NJ - The Wolverines picked up a solid victory over the Phantoms from Delaware Tech Saturday afternoon at the Cleo Hill Physical Education Building 101-86. Essex played a solid game all around, picking up contributions from several players. The Wolverines were led by Koi Kirk Jr., who had 27 points on 9-19 shooting, Shane Cedres with 15 points and 6 assists, as well as Emard Babcap with 18 points and 21 rebounds. In what was a close game with the Wolverines leading 47-36 at the half, the lead was always secure due to some efficient offensive play and key defensive stops by the Wolverines.

The Wolverines return to action next Tuesday Feb. 13th against another Region 19 foe The College County of Morris with a 7pm tipoff.
