Loch Sheldrake, NY - The Essex Wolverines came up short against Suny Sullivan Community College this past Saturday 81-80.
It was a back and forth game in the first half with Essex trailing the Generals 39-44. Essex would make a comeback and would have a 4 point lead with minutes left in the second half.
Costly turnovers at the end of the game would be the determine the Wolverines loss. Leading scoring for Essex was sophomore guard/forward, Koi Kirk Jr. and freshman guard/forward Jaidan Gilzene scoring 22 points a piece.
Wolverines return to action on Thursday, December 14th as they host conference opponent Raritan Valley at 7:00pm.
