Essex comes up short against Atlantic Cape

Newark, NJ - Essex Wolverines struggles continued as they lost their third straight game against Atlantic Cape Community College 74-81 on Thursday night.

Essex would trail the Buccaneers for the entire first half. In the start of the second half, the Wolverines would pick up the tempo and go on a 10-0 where they would trail by two points but Atlantic Cape would then retake the tempo of the game and ultimately seal the deal.

Essex's two top scorers, sophomore guard, Koi Kirk Jr. added 21 points and freshman foward, Jaidan Gilzene collected dropped 22 points.

Essex is back on the road next week on Tuesday, December 5th as they travel to Lackawanna for a 7:00pm tip-off.
