Newark, NJ - The Wolverines first home game of the season was not the ending they were looking for as they would fall to conference opponent, Middlesex 87-78 on Tuesday night.
Top scorers for Essex was sophomore guard, Koi Kirk Jr. with 27 points, freshman guard, Jaidan Gilzene with 18 points, and sophomore guard, Amir Carter Smith with 12 points.
Essex looks to turn the page as they host the Buccaneers of Atlantic Cape Community College at 6:00pm in the Cleo Hill Physical Education Building.
