All- GSAC Teams Announced

Newark, NJ | The GSAC Basketball Committee is proud to announce the Division 2 All-GSAC Basketball teams for the 2024-25 season. We are honored to announced that two of our Wolverines, Basirat Animashaun and Kayley Lynch have been named to the Second Team All- GSAC! 

Transfer Basirat Animashaun played in 20 games, putting up 202 points with 30 steals for us at Essex County College. She averaged 10.1 points while shooting 39.2% from the field and 66.7% from the free throw line. She also averaged 11.4 rebounds per game with 2.3 assists. She was a hard worker and brought energy for her team this season. She will be missed next season but we wish her all the best in her future endeavors. Congratulations Basi for such an achievement! 

Freshman Kayley Lynch picks up another accolade after a strong first season at Essex County College. She recently named to Second Team All- Region and now she picks up the honor of being named to the Second Team All- GSAC.  Kayley was a force down low in the post for the Wolverines, averaging 10.3 points per game and 9.4 rebounds playing in 20 games. Congratulations Kayley, we are excited to see what next season is in stored for you!
