Newark, NJ - Sophomore Transfer Basirat Animashaun led the Wolverines past Del Tech Tuesday night 83-64, with 23 points and 11 rebounds. The Wolverines came out shooting well and bulit a 44-37 half time, beforee pulling away in the 2nd half. Mia Marie Thomas chipped in with 16 points and 3 rebounds, while Natalie Fonseca had 18 points and 2 steals. The Wolverines shot 47.8 % from the field, including 82.4% from free throws.
What a great all around win for the Wolverines, as Freshmen Michelle Hernandez also chipped in with 13 rebounds.
The Wolverines (3-6) close out the 2024 year at Raritan Community College on Saturday Dec. 21st (noon tip off).
