Bears Defeat Wolverines

Newark, NJ - The Essex County College Women's Basketball team dropped a Region 19 game to Harcum College Tuesday night, 95-36. Harcum came out red hot to start the game and stayed hot from the field, shooting 48.7% for the game. Essex led by freshmen Mia Marie Thomas who had 12 points and 7 rebounds, shot only 25% from the field. Harcum's stingy defense confused the Wolverines all game long and forced tough shots leading to the victory.

Freshmen Kayley Lynch chipped in with 10 rebounds and 8 points. Harcum was able to also get to the line often, shooting 12/17 from the free throw line.

The Wolverines (2-6) return to action Tuesday December 17th at home vs Del Tech (5pm tip off), as apart of a double header with the men's teams.
